Theatre Arts Family Reunion - Kickoff Reception
8:30 p.m., Lunsford Atrium in Day Hall
The MHU Theatre Arts Family Reunion is a celebration for all who have been part of the theatre arts history at Mars Hill University. The original event in September 2024 was canceled due to Hurricane Helene, and now we are celebrating in March 2025. Reception with light refreshments at Day Hall.

Theatre Arts Family Reunion - Grand Gathering
11 a.m., Owen Theatre
Recognize guests/faculty/staff/student groups and take a cast photo. There will be a special remembrance of those who have passed and conclude with a slide show of Mars Hill theatre arts through the decades.
Theatre Arts Family Reunion - The Belle of Amherst
7:30 p.m., Owen Theatres
Susan King, class of 1976, first presented "The Belle of Amherst" by William Luce at Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre in 1978 under the direction of C. Robert Jones. She has performed it many times for SART, the MHU theatre arts department, and other audiences over 46 years. The performance is free of charge but tickets must be reserved at https://www.mhu.edu/event/theatre-arts-family-reunion.

Day4MHU
All day (12 a.m.-11:59 p.m.), on-campus and virtual at www.mhu.edu/day4mhu
DAY4MHU is an event where the entire Mars Hill University community gathers in support of the university. Traditionally this day has been dedicated to raise awareness and funds for the Mars Hill Scholarship Fund. The priority is to raise support for the Mars Hill Scholarship Fund, but donors may boost any aspect of campus that is important to them through their donations.This year's goal is $350,000.
Western Division Concert Band MPA
All day, Moore Auditorium
Mars Hill will host the Western Division Concert Band MPA. This event will bring approximately 3,000 middle and high school students to campus over the course of three days. Runs through Friday, March 28.

Thursday, March 27
Juried Student Art Exhibition Opens
10 a.m.-4 p.m., Weizenblatt Gallery (Moore Fine Arts Building)
An exhibition of creations by MHU art students during the school year. On view are ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, and graphic design. Exhibition runs through April 10.
Square Dance
7-9 p.m., The Loft (McConnell Hall)
A square dance in MHU's Loft with live old-time music and caller Aaron Ratcliffe. No experience is necessary-first-timers are welcome and encouraged. This dance is free and open to all, both on-campus and community. Presented by the Ramsey Center for Appalachian Studies with support from the Madison County Tourism Development Authority.
