Turkey Trot Walk-A-Thon
10 a.m.-6 p.m., Meares Stadium
Fundraiser for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. Students, staff, faculty, and local community members will walk laps to raise money for the Temporary Housing for Helene Victims project organized with MHU Prof. James Heinl, students, and volunteers. The project, already underway, is to build a home which will be used for up to a year by a family displaced by the hurricane; the home then will be converted to an affordable housing option for someone who lives and works in the region.
True North Chapel Service

Weekly service in Broyhill Chapel. Refresh your spirit and reorient your soul to the things that matter most.
Jazz Ensembles Concert
7:30 p.m., Moore Auditorium
An evening of jazz music presented by the MHU Department of Music.

Square Dance
7 p.m., The Loft (McConnell Hall)
Join us for a square dance in the Loft with caller Rodney Sutton and live old-time music. No experience is necessary - first-timers are welcome and encouraged. MHU's own Bailey Mountain Cloggers will be there showing off some fancy footwork, too. This dance is free and open to all - both on-campus and community.
