Mars Hill University Celebrated 59 Graduates on December 15
Mars Hill, NC (12/15/2023) — Mars Hill University recognized 59 summer and fall graduates during its commencement ceremony on Friday, December 15, 2023. Degrees conferred were the Master of Arts, Master of Education, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Social Work.
Student speakers were Triston Klapprodt, a business administration major from Waxhaw, North Carolina, representing the traditional undergraduate program; and Nautica Poole, a criminal justice graduate student from Clearwater, Florida, representing the Adult and Graduate Studies program. Special music on the trombone was provided by Wesley Owen, a music performance major from Swannanoa, North Carolina.
Mars Hill University holds two graduation ceremonies each year: one in May for graduates who complete their degrees in the spring semester, and one in December for graduates who complete degree requirements over the summer or fall terms.
